VDE is a study platform for people preparing for Brazil's bar exam and public service tests. The product had a problem nobody wanted to say out loud: users bought it and never studied. I led a team of three designers and owned the whole platform, from discovery to handoff, with no PRD — the solutions came straight out of conversations with the CEO. Built the visual identity, the design system, and the UI architecture from scratch, across three product verticals. Sales grew 400% after the redesign. Support contacts dropped 60%.
